So I got these 4 chicks from tractor supply about 3 1/2 weeks ago and I think they are like 6 weeks old because they are almost fully feathered and in the excitement of getting them I didn't even look what kind they were, I believe that 3 are barred Plymouth rocks and the other might be a australorp but l'm not 100% sure. Also I don't think that they are all hens. The gray one is significantly bigger than the others but has a way smaller comb that is barely even there, this might just be because it is a diffrent breed but l'm not sure. The black and white ones all have characteristics of being hens and Roos so any help on sexing, identifying, aging, them would be greatly appreciated!

Also the black and white chicken in the first image is a little bit larger than the other black and white ones.

The first three look like barred rock to me and also very likely to be pullets but it still a little early to be positive on sex. The fourth looks like it might have a pea comb but it’s hard to tell from this angle. If it is a pea comb my guess is an olive egger or Easter egger. Nothing screams cockerel to me so I think you’ll have 4 good layers in a few months.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

Cute babies! ❤ It may still be a bit early to tell, but for now they all appear to be pullets. The first 3 look like Barred Rocks and the last one might be a Black Australorp. You might also start a thread in our What Breed and Gender forums for more help. Click here... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/what-breed-or-gender-is-this.15/

Enjoy your babies and welcome to our community!

The first 3 are 100% barred rock and I am really sure that the other is a blue ameraucana.
I agree about the Barred Rocks. However, I don't think TSC carries Ameraucanas. Possibly an Americana (Easter Egger), but I don't know what those look like at that age. Maybe a Sapphire Gem...?

@Joshua0272 :welcome Cute babies!
