Baby Chicks Under Mama

Yikes! Broody hen has been sitting on eggs for what I thought was almost 2.5 weeks. Well now she’s sitting on a baby chick! Help! What do I do?
She’s about 3.5 feet off the ground in her nest. I removed the big waterer and put a chick waterer in the coop. The coop is an old 10’x15’ barn. I have one rooster and 5 hens.
I guess I need to put some chick starter in there? What else am I missing?

Do you have a dog crate/cage?

I personally move newly hatched chicks and their mother to a safe location from the other birds, so a dog kennel with feed and water, usually. That's it.

I don’t. When these were chicks, I kept them in a cattle watering tub.

Could you possibly put something in front of the nest box for now to block it off while you wait for the others to hatch?

That way they can’t fall out and then when they hatch move them?

I would move them into a safe location with feed/water now. Do you still have the livestock tub? You could put some wire overtop.
