Our bantam hen (which we got just over a year ago as a day old chick and placed underneath our little broody bantam) pecked and yanked her "mom's" comb today to the point that it bled quite a lot and ripped. We have three bantams - two that are 2 1/2, and this one that is a year old. She quickly asserted herself as the boss of the group, and will peck the others out of her way. Until now, we've not had any issues with her drawing blood. (She holds her own with the standard gals.) I am wondering if I should move her in with the standards, leave the situation alone and see if it settles down, or something else?
