I wasn't sure where to put this but i guess this works.. I've always wondered, what makes the bantams so small? Is it that they were just bred that way? Or is it a gene that causes them to mature early so they stop growing?
I've noticed with my old english bantams they are pretty much completely grown by 6 months.. Good feathers, comb, everything. But in my American games and other breeds that are large fowl i've come across they still have a lot of growing/filling out to do. So.. What is it?
