This 6 month old rooster was sexed as a hen at hatching. He's sweet-natured and has been handled a lot by my 7 year old daughter. Unfortunately we cannot keep him as we are in an urban area. They say Buff Orpingtons are the golden retrievers of the chicken world and so far he lives up to that reputation. We think he would make a wonderful flock guardian and father. Free to good home. We can deliver him anywhere within an hour or so of the Bay Area.

Thanks KDMdesigns! He's a sweetheart, I really hope we can find a flock for him. Just yesterday a Cooper's hawk landed in a tree in our yard, and all the hens panicked. I found him standing guard over one of the hens who didn't find a good hiding place.
