Oops,sorry, didn't explain myself well! I figured USPS sets the price, I was just wondering what's the most economical number to purchase at a time. Like if you use flat rate, how many fit in size. Its not a linear equasion they use but "steps"

I know it says quail, but do these work well with chicken chicks? I am looking for a way to save money on feed for my bantam chicks. Thanks!

The feeders that I build will work very well for chickens. I can cut the feeding slots any size to feed any size bird. Just let me know what size birds you will be feeding. I haven't weighed the amount of feed they will hold but I would say about a pound. You WILL save on the Feed bill Thanks JIM
