Best place to buy pine shaving?

I get mine from a cabinet shop for free. Shaving/chips are a bi-product that he has no use for and loves to give them away. Try a cabinet/woodworking shop before buying; just do not use walnut.

Alot of the Amish in our area have saw mills. There is a company that bags the shavings up and sell them much cheaper than farm stores.
Also if you do buy at Tractor Supply they will give you half off every torn or open bag! Also on their feeds for livestock and even dog and cat food. They tape the bags but still discount at half off.
They do not advertise this but manager will o.k. it. I usually stop in the store couple times a month and score!

Ya we go to the local saw mill and get a compressed bale for $5. it's good clean soft shavings, no dust. I have tried TSC when I can't get over the mill and theirs is more expensive and also rougher cut, more like hard chips than shavings.
