Our 8 week old Black Australorp chicks are fairly easy to sex, once we've learned and watched them, but we have one that we are wavering on.
We plan on taking them to an auction for our local 4H this Saturday yet want to keep the pullets (yay for straight run, lol, yes we knew the "odds" so went with 14, and have at least 5 pullets) this the need to sexing them.
Thanks for all assistance. First three photos is the chick in question, the photo with the backs showing(pullet behind) is same chick. Adding pics of our cockerels/pullets for reference. We do know sometimes cockerels are slower to mature, so there's that too. As well as some pullets have bigger combs. Thanks!
