For the chicks the brown im guessing Rhode island red in the second picture looks to be a cockerel.
do you have any close up pictures of them?

A cockerel is a rooster correct? I don’t want to rehome it, but I’ll have to.

I agree, one of the Rhode Island Reds is a cockerel, which is a rooster under a year old. All the others look like pullets, and I'm seeing what are likely Sapphire Gems, the blue ones, Rhode Island Reds, and Red sex-links, which are the lighter brown ones.

I’ll have to rehome the one Rhode Island Red rooster. I’ll be sad as I want to keep them all. Is the skinny Rhode Island Red the male or the fluffier one? Neither have spurs and their combs are not really red so I can’t tell.

I think its the skinnier one with the larger comb

Males and females can have spurs. Its the comb development at that age that says male vs female

Oh, I can’t tell the difference between them on that just yet. I’m so new to this.
