What happens if i breed bad quality mottled brahma rooster over light brahma hen?

You probably get chicks that are mostly black, but have a fair bit of silver leakage, with a chance of some red or gold leakage as well.

If any chicks have gold or red leakage in their breast area, and no silver/white leakage at all, those chicks would be female. But the leakage is not usually visible until they are mostly grown up, by which point you know the genders anyway, so it's not likely to help with sexing the chicks at any age that would be useful.

Since both parents are Brahmas, chicks should have the usual Brahma traits (pea comb, feathered feet, general size & shape of body, egg color, etc.)
