Broody Hen

My 7 chickens are in a 10’x20’ run to protect them from predators. In the evening, they all trot into my coop. The past few days, I have worked past dark and I do not want to disturb them in their coop and scare them. I check to make sure they are not outside in the run.

If you go in everyday with a dim flashlight/headlight, talking softly, they will get used to it.
