start soaking in warm Epsom salt water then use a drawing salve over the bumble and wrap after a few days remove wrap and post more pictures. soak snd keep up with the drawing salve. Hopefully the scab will soften the drawing salve will bring the bumble to the surface and all you'll have to do is peel off the scab and remove the kernel which will be thick and look like cottage cheese.

I'd go this route first and if it doesn't work then do the cutting out but hopefully this will work. No swimming while treating unless it's when you remove wrap for soaking in Epsom salt. Best way to soak is using a bucket place duck down into it feet first and hold onto them so they can't get out.
