Goodmorning Sir Sour. Thanks for the coffee.
Had us some thunderstorms during the night. They kept predicting large hail with each cell that went through but fortunately as it would approach the hall core would dissipate and all we ended up with was a good 2 inches of rain.

Nice to get rain!

The rain predicted for last weekend did not make it here.

we were supposed to get more snow. it didn't come.. kids are disappointed.

They want fresh snow to ride the snowmachine in.

Al, my DD spent a year in Alaska about 4 years back and while listening to all the thunder and lightning last night she told me it never happened in Alaska.

she is right I lived in Juneau though Al is in Kenai or Anchorage
we called it part of the lower 48 that floated in and hooked onto cook inlet

yep... no big rainstorms. .. as in almost never.

Being from Texas I was used to rain so hard that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face... here rain is usually a mist to a light rain.

It was raining on West Mesa when we got home and you can see fresh snow on the mountains. Didn’t rain here very much though.
