Today is a beautiful sunny November day here in Burgundy, have let the girls out, fed the cat and now enjoying my cup of tea in bed reading all the posts, then when I drag myself out going for a short run as its such a lovely day, then a spot of winter clearing away in the garden

I really don't care, what people think about roosters. But today, when I picked up my roo jaffar, he tucked his tiny beak behind my ear and wiggled his head saying, "I love you daddy"
Now that's a good roo if I ever met one!

Given the opportunity deer ticks will burrow into you up to half of their body length.

Deer ticks area a bear to get out, they are sooo tiny!
Dog ticks are a piece of cake with the twisty things.

You just don't know what you're missing. It's an experience, that's for sure.

As I wrote, I don't think it was an accident. That mare was in the cross ties getting glammed up for the day, I'd put her sheet on her, her tail wrap and front boots and she waited until I was putting the rear boots on before letting loose. That was just her way of expressing her opinion of my plans for the day.
