What's the reasoning for serving it in a glass?

I don't know. It's just how I have been served coffee in Italy, Spain and some parts of France. It's become a "thing" with me now.

It's finally Friday - I'm looking forward to putting the garden to rest for the winter and spending more time with the flock! The winter weather is late here, but it's finally making an appearance.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee, Shad.

It's nice and frosty again today but will be sunny and dry for the next three days and in the mid to high 40s. I am going to try to motivate myself to finally get the front of the garage finished and supplies moved around so I can park in it this winter.

Other than cleaning windows and dumping the last bale of hemp bedding I have into the coop, the chickens are winter ready.

I found a new hen in a nest box last night. LOTS of pins coming in under her. I just hate handling them when they are like that.

Just read another post about a pinned hen staying a couple nights in a nest, then she went back to roost.
