Ended BYC's 15th Annual New Year's Day Hatch-Along—2024—Chilly Coop Contest!

Ours is totally gone too. Very strange for Wisconsin to not be 2 feet under by now.
Same here. We literally got 3-6 inches of rain here yesterday and most of the State is floating away. That should have been snow, but it was like 60° F yesterday instead of 0°.

BYC's 15th Annual New Year's Day Hatch-Along - 2024
Chilly Coop Contest!
Ends February 29th, 2024

Welcome to BYC's Chilly Coop Contest. Some coops are purchased kits, and some are custom-crafted. Some coops are made of recycled wood, and some are painted. One thing that all of our coops share in common is a place for our feathered friends to lay their eggs and to keep their fluffy butts safe and warm in the winter. We want to see those cozy cottages and fortified fortresses this winter.

Prizes

The coop with fresh snow on the chicken door. On the left is their 'tent' for year round dust baths. On the right (only partially visible) are a series of wooden objects for perching on. Above are zig zagging clothes lines to keep aerial predators away.
