Hey anyone in San Diego have Buff Orpingtons? I'm wondering if they do okay in the heat and humidity since they're such a heavy breed. Thanks!

Buff Orpingtons are doing very well in San Diego, my friend has one.

How to decide? Well, it depends what you want: they are very docile and like pets, often very broody and good moms, which means at certain times not the most eggs. But beautiful birds. We have Silver Laced Giant Cochins and (real, NO EE) Ameraucaner and love each and every bird!!!

BuffOs are good in San Diego. My friend, a few streets down has like 5 of them. Great layers and they are HUGE!!! Haha.
