With cackle, if you call them and order they will send the chicks on a date you request. If you order online, they send them the next available date in the order that your request was processed.

Without a doubt! We asked for no ducks since we have had lots of trouble with them in the past. I am more excited then the kids!

For those who have ordered this I have a quick question.

What was your ratio of pullets to cockerels? Just curious if the chicks were mainly roosters or if you had a pretty even mixture.

I think I read a review that someone had pretty much an even split. We aren't going to keep all of ours so I won't know.

an update on mine:

I lost one of the polish and 2 turkeys a couple of days ago. They were doing fine, and then the next morning when I went out to check on them, they were dead.
