Cackle hatchery's Hatchery Surprise- Anybody got this before?

I got my surprise and I'm dissappointed in myself that I can't even tell what most of them are. I thought this would be easy but I have no idea. I don't even know if I got any turkeys cause I don't actually know how to tell turkeys from chickens... hahaha...

If you post pictures of your chicks the people here can help. You can also look at the pictures and videos on the Cackle Hatchery website.

At least we know they have to be breeds that Cackle sells, so that helps.

Mkay Im posting pics in just a second.

The biggest problem is that I ordered a random cockerel package, and guess what - I saw the boxes and thought they had mixed everything together so we tossed the babies in the brooder and realized an hour later that cackle marks their shipments with a sharpie pen inside the box. I didn't know that so now I have 100 or so cockerels mixed in with my surprise babies.

Okay here's some photos of what I ended up with:

My ducks... breed unknown

I think this guy is a brahma...?

I got several of these reddish orange guys that are much skinnier than everyone else but stand strangely tall...?? Are they some kind of OEGB or something? Or jungle fowl? Saipan??

I know this one!! LOL I only got ONE though... boo...

see that is one of those tall red guys again...

This is what my friend took...

I separated them out so that all the white/yellow plain ones and the black dot ones were in the cockerel brooder. I'm guessing orps/barred rocks...? And some other meat birds.. Are there any meat birds that are *NOT* just plain looking from cackle?

THis is what my mom stole from me... lol

( what my friend took, minus camera flash so you can see colors better)

Okay... I know a few, but with the 100 that look like chipmunks... it's getting ridiculous. LOL And I don't *thinnk* I have any turkeys but I have no idea.

Turkeys will have a little knob instead of a comb. They sound like they're singing too.

What kind of comb does the tall red one have? Might be a Red-shouldered Yokohama.
Yeah I just checked and they have a different comb. I wouldn't have even thought to look, Im just used to getting plain combed chicks :p

Im not seeing anynobs but some of the chicks do sound like they are chirping a bird song rather than cheeping. I don't remember that with my precious chicks but I've never gotten anything super special like some of these ones I have. I have a lot of green legs and a lot of feather legs, so I am assuming easter eggers of various colors and standarn cochins.

Well, that complicated things. :)

Don't worry. You should be able to tell which ones are cockerels in a month or so. :)

Cackle sells Cornish cross and red broilers as meat birds. Both of those breeds have chicks that are yellow. But there are other breeds that Cackle sells that can be used as meat birds.
