Can chickens eat the fruit from a 'lilly Pilly'?

Hello,
I just bought two lilly pilly (syzygium paniculatum) bushes and I just want to be sure that the fruit and plant itself is safe for the chickens to eat. It's better to be safe then unsure.

If people can eat it, http://trees.stanford.edu/ENCYC/SYZpan.htm , chickens can eat it. They may not, if they don't like it.
