Can chickens hear ultra sonic sounds like dogs???

At walgreens there was a preadtor motion activated light with ultra sonic sound, that worked up to 30 feet. Did I mention solar powered? I don't want to bother the chickens with the noise it makes. Can chickens hear ultra sonic sounds???

I wouldnt....they have tiny skulls tinier than most predators-I would think it would irritate them at best. Stick to more traditional methods...good cage/coop at night, string CDs on fishing line, radio, regular lights and a good dog, goose or donkey or an early warning guinea alarm system.

My run isn't that great. I have a poodle alert, fishing line, need radio, and solar lights.
