Can Snakes Climb Hardware Cloth?

Oh and @coach723 FABULOUS video on snake proofing for rattlesnakes!! The baby rattler didn't appear to climb the 1/4 inch hardware cloth so this gives me hope using the 1/4 inch stuff. I am also going to follow the link to Rattlesnake Proofing around the home. Thanks so much!!

Most welcome. Your lovely mulch, wood pile is perfect for egg-laying snakes:) sorry! But it's life, as long as the big ones don't get in, I think you're golden:)

Yes, I am betting a snake or two is in my mulch pile out back. :D And I can live with these things, as long as they stay OUTSIDE! And yes, the big ones can do what ever they wish, heck, they can climb the sides of the coop and run for all I care. :p As long as the little ones can't get in, neither can the big ones. :)

I've decided to give the 2ft, 1/4 cloth a try. I will need to have my hardware store order it. Gives me a nice fall project. :)

Now it is time for a snake proofing article in the Learning Center!

Get going Ron!
