Check out my new baby!!

One of my female alpacas was due May 13. I have been watching her diligently since about May 1 expecting the baby but nothing. Yesterday I left my office (which looks out on the pasture) around 5:30pm, giving up on her for the day. About an hour later my neighbor comes up to the house going 'your alpaca just had a baby!!'. Clearly, my girl just didn't want me seeing the baby being born! This is the 2nd time she has had one without letting me see.

But she's a good momma and we have a gorgeous baby, here she is:
