Chick Hatcheries

Hi!!
I'm not sure where to put this so I put here in random ramblings (even though is not.)

. I've been looking for a chick hatchery where I can buy bantam chicks that are female and not straight run. Ideal poultry only sells straight run, MyPetChicken sell it for a ridiculous price, and I can seem to find one! If you could help me out I would appreciate it!!

You can try murray McMurray in iowa or Meyer in Ohio.

Murray McMurray only does straight run also. I was just calculating how much it would cost to get 9 female bantams from MyPetChicken (that's the least you can get) and it totaled to

$148.96!(plus shipping)​

Bantam chicks are not sexed by most hatcheries, they are too tiny.

I've ordered bantams in the past from Ideal Poultry and have been happy with their birds and service.

I was going to do them, but I can't take any chances of getting a rooster. (since I have 3 already and its a pain to get rid of.)
Did you get more girls then boys?
