Hey!
So one of my hens became broody and we decided to let her go through with hatching the eggs. The only problem is I’ve never done this before.
All of the chicks have hatched okay and they are peeping away happily.
However, I had to help one chick out of its shell and it’s still attached to it by what seems to be an umbilical cord. It’s still peeping and responsive to any stimuli but this is really freaking me out and I’m unsure whether it is safe to leave it alone with the other chicks.
So please if any knows advice would be EXTREMELY appreciated!!!!!!
