chick treats and grit

Okay I know that my babies are ready for treats but I am going to go get grit today before I give them anything new. What exactly do I get and how do I offer it to them?

Just supply some "chick grit" in a separate container and they'll eat whatever they want.
Provide treats sparingly since you want them to eat more of their chick starter and not so much of the treats.
