Chicken laying very fragile eggs

Hello, I would like to ask if any of you have any experience with chicken laying regularly in winter. One of my silky chickens is still laying eggs, but they became very fragile 2 or 3 days ago. The shell is very thin and I think she may have become broody as she is returning to the nest and it looks like she tries to lay more and more... Is this normal in winter or what should I do ?
Thank you for reading this and thanks in advance for any answers.

Firstly hi and welcome to BYC

What are you feeding your chickens? Do they have layer feed with oyster shell on the side? Normally thin shells are thin as you describe due to lack of calcium and giving it to them free choice at all times will quickly sort the eggs out. it is possible your silkie is going broody - I have one that just has and know of at least one other member who has 2!

I give my chickens lemon-flavoured yoghurt and calcium citrate pills to keep their calcium level high enough. You can try those if your chickens have no interest in oyster shell (I know that mine don't).
