chicks outside

i just put my chicks outside and they only have food and water outside should i put food and water inside too?

Personal preference some keep it inside some outside and others both. I keep my food and water inisde because my run is not covered and if it rains the food will get wet. I do have a small feeder and waterer that hangs on the outside run but I have to fill it daily as like I said they are small so not to worried about loosing food to the weather.

Im sure its just personal preference. Right now I have mine in the coop since I feel my chicks are still young at 7 weeks I want them to have free access to food and water. When they get a little older I will hang it outside under the coop to keep it out of rain and that will also give them more floor space in the coop once they are bigger.
