Ok so here's the story. I had 4 chocolate Orpington eggs it was day 22 and they had not hatched. So I had two incubators going at the same time a day apart. So I cleaned out the one incubator. And put the four eggs in the other incubator where chicks were all ready hatching. Well the four eggs had pencil marks on them. Now I can only find three unhatched chocolate Orpington eggs. And I looked for the shell with pencil marks on witch would be the forth. I couldn't find the shell I don't know if it got wiped off or ate or what. Now I have a potential chocolate Orpington among 40 other chicks that are barnyard mixes that I hatched for a guy who ordered them. Well I want to keep the chocolate any help on how I can identify this particular chick? Leg comb color any other traits? Thanks for any help in advance!

Go to My Pet Chicken and look in the hatching egg section, they have chocolate Orpingtons and a photo of them as chicks. I'd share it but I'm not sure if I can, so go have a look.
