Its just about over now. When egg 20 hatches I am taking the eggs to my science class so we can dissect them.

Yep! Thought I would be bringing six. Apparently only 5. I'm worries about this one though. He is zipping toward the small end. Still moving, progressing, and chirping though. Should I assist at all?

By the way, egg 20 died, so I threw it out.

Yep! The order went Egg 18, Egg 16, Egg 17, Egg 9, Egg 20 died, and Egg 21 has made no progress.

I think the one I helped has neurological issues. This is how it walks. I gave it Nutri Drench water and I have a mash with Hydro Hen and Nutri Drench for him.

Egg 9 is now chick 9! Still wet though. The other three are in the brooder. Egg 20 has pipped!

Why the sad face?

Because it sounded like there was no air cell. I was afraid my chick would suffocate or was malpositioned and would have hatching difficulties. But it has hatched now so my worries were misplaced and I'm okay now. Having an egg lotto is a good idea, I think, so the person doing the hatching isn't doing the worrying all by themselves, it's a group effort, lol!
