Hello, I have two uber cute 5-6 weeks old chicks: a frizzle Silkie and a Mille Fleur d'Uccle.

Silkie roosters and hens are apparently hard to distinguish, but this guy looks, well,
like a guy. Please, tell me I'm wrong!

Your MFD is a pullet. The frizzled Silkie is still too young to accurately sex.

these look like possible silkie crest streamers, but I wouldn't make any big decisions about this one just yet. It is really hard to tell with crosses, and frizzle ones at that.

here is mine. I'm watching that crest very closely!

What cross is it? I got mine as a Frizzle Silkie, is s/he crossed with another breed?

thank you! She () is a gold laced Polish frizzle crossed with a paint silkie. Started off white and now going cream with some gold laced feathers popping up randomly.
