Coop add ons!

We have 8 girls living in the coop right now.
I used mostly pallet wood for the entire coop.

I, too, like the egg shaped nest box entrances & the branch landing pads. Do you have any tips on taking apart pallets? I have a bunch of pallets and have been trying to use a sawzall to take them apart, but it's very slow going and I have a lot of trouble getting the middle nails cut. It's hard to get the blade in there. I've also tried using a crowbar, but that usually just breaks the boards into unusable pieces.

At first my son and I used a sledge hammer from the back to bang out the boards of pallets. Not all boards made it out looking good but most did. Some looked bad on one side but usable on the other. Only one side shows so those were fine. We ended up breaking apart about 30 pallets for this project. After about 20 pallets we decided to sawzall for the ends and the sledge hammer for the middle. It was faster but you will end up with shorter boards. Their are some videos online about doing this. Good luck.
