He was the first to hatch, and went from one peeping egg to the other and poked at them, then finally sunk down in disgust just as this one pipped. Maybe you can count it in for one of the contests. A funniest chicken one, maybe?

This is so cool! I'm not able to show horticulture this year due to surgery, but this gives me a way to enter my garden. I have young poults, pullets, ducklings, and goslings but maybe I'll try them, too, if my husband can be my wrangler for photos. Can't wait to see everyone's photos! I love fair season!!
