* update * Another one died. Someone please help me!

My quail were born July 4. I had them on straw bit switched to paper towel late last night. I feel like they should be more active. One died and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. What should I look for?

The space they have gives them room around the heat or away. I've tried dried food, adding water to the food, and water in a shell and bowel both
I'll be posting a video with this.

I've hatched and raised quail before with out issues. I'm really upset with this. Yes I'll be changing the paper towel again. I wanted to record what was happening first.

Thank so much for any help.

I'm also not sure where everyone is right now but it seems everyone's gone preparing for the work week! I'm a newbie, but I feel your stress as I am about to hatch some babies too! Oh I hope someone gets on this quick:fl
Thank you I appreciate that. Yes, this place is usually popping with help and advice but it is Sunday night.
I've done all that. I've done everything I can to help, but they keep dying. I got the eggs off of Craigslist, not a hatchery. I don't think any of them are going to make it.
Thanks again for your support

Were you able to watch the video? Have you ever seen that behavior before?
I feel so helpless. They start getting super loud then the baby just dies
Yes, I saw it, I hate that I dont know what it is. I really feel for you, That really....sucks, poor babies. I am trying to prepare myself for the same possibilities, as I got my eggs from Ebay and I dont know the seller. I've reached out to a couple of breeders on here but have gotten no responses. So, I guess next time I'll pay a little more and go with Strombergs or a place like that I guess, if this isn't successful. Keep us posted for sure how things end up.
