Desperately Looking for Blue or Splash Orpington chicks in Illinois

Hello all,
I am a regular reader of this forum, but never had anything to say so I just registered today.

I am looking for a (6 to 12) few blue orpington or splash orpington chicks. I would take hatching eggs, but I have been having terrible luck recently with mail order eggs this time of the year.

If no one has any available does anybody have any information on breeders. All of the sites I have found have been located in the United Kingdom. That trip would definitely kill the chicks.

Where are you located city wise?

I know of a breeder near Streator and a few out here locally.

I know hatching eggs are so hard on them...I didnt have much luck until I got some chicks from the breeder near Streator and a few from hatcing eggs.

I am a member of the Orp club so I can help a bit if there is any near you.

I live in Kane, Illinois. It's a very small town. I'm not sure where Streator is but I will mapquest it.
