To the blues that are confused, how about adding the non-laced blues (called self-blue in other parts of the world)?

Now you need to publish it all in a handy book! I'll buy the first copy if you autograph it

I'm pretty sure that in Europe/UK/Australia (breeders from those locations, please correct me if I err) there are blue gene birds without the darker hackles & saddles.

Somehow I missed the one you posted, but he still has the darker hackles & saddle.

I did a search as Avian...

As far as yellow tissue in the nasal cavity, I would thing that it would be normal. I would be more worried if it was Black or even White..
I will check some of my birds and see what I can find...
