So we have a surprise Roo as you often might when you get peeps. And I just came across someone looking to remove my dream Cockrell because they can't keep him due to their ordinance where they live. I only have 13 hens. So that's not enough to keep two gentlemen happy. I guess I just wonder if I forgo the new Beau and keep our current resident shithead or get the one I dream of

Keep in mind that the "dream male" might turn out to not be so dreamy as you think him to be.

And he could very well carry some internal and external parasites or/and chronic viral disease you would expose your own flock to never to get cured.
