Dirt or Early Stage Dry Pox?

For the last couple of weeks I have noticed some 'dirt' or something on one of my chickens faces. I wasnt too worried about it at first cause i figured the chicken would get it off by bathing or something.
I started a different thread earlier asking how to get the dirt off of my chicken and someone gave me an answer on how to get it off(haven't tried it yet) and another person said they think it's early stage dry pox....wondering what everyone else thinks it is.

Looks like blood, pecking and dirt.
Try to clean up the face and wattles as others have suggested in your other threads.
You can apply some triple antibiotic ointment or vetericyn.

You will need to evaluate your housing/run situation and determine if the picking is due to overcrowding. Too little space can cause aggressive pecking, so adding some room will be helpful.
