Dog breed guesses?

American bulldogs are larger than pits, so there is no reason they would favor short legs. Pits come in many sizes so I can see the mix looking a lot of different ways. The head does favor a bulldog in my opinion.

I dont think so because i dog sit two pit American bulldog crosses and they have short legs and shorter snouts. I'm thinking maybe at some point getting one of those DNA tests for him.

Yes, but you got to remember that people try to breed for the stocky, short legged look (a.k.a "American Bully") and the pit bull is not actually a breed and American Bulldogs are actually quite tall.

I just got a DNA test for my mutt and supposedly she has Chow Chow in her. I wouldn't be surprised if Dex did since it's a common thing to find in pit mixes from the south.

My moms guess for Dex's breed is a Boxer, Pit, Lab mix, my great aunt saw him outside our house and said she thought he was a Boxer mix too.
