A while back a lady in my area contacted me looking for an adult male Guinea companion for her lone Guinea who had recently lost his buddy. I did not have any adults at the time, so I set her up with one of my handsome but not quite mature Pied Pearl Grey males, and gave her some pointers on raising him the rest of the way and acclimating him to her remaining Guinea. We were crossing our fingers that they would bond and she'd have a pair of beautiful, happy, silly birds running around her ranch again.
This was a few months back... and today I received an email from her telling me he's all grown up and the 2 Guineas are getting along great now. She attached this beautiful pic. His name is Merle, the other Guinea's name is Pearl.
