Drake prolapse help!

My 12 week old Aylesbury Drake has a prolapse penis. I am a first time duck owner so have never ever seen this before or even know where to start to treat it! He had blood around the area which I have cleaned with iadine to stop any infection (hope this was right) he has had a paddle in the bath but he is not making his usual noises, cannot sit/lay down and is looking very sorry for himself. He also hasn’t pooped, there is just a clear liquid every now and again. I have see him drinking but he has not yet eaten anything. Please help me!

Thank you, he’s currently got his tail sticking right up in the air and I think he is trying his best to get it back in! I just really don’t know how to help him. Breaks my heart

Have you tried putting it back in for him? maybe some coconut oil first so it slips in easy. Unless too swollen.

I have tried, I put Vaseline on it and gently pushed but I didn’t want to hurt him so not sure if I pushed hard enough.

As long as it isn't swollen I'd try again. My little dachshund has a prolapse and after I finished freaking out I ran cool water over him and it finally went back in. Maybe try that first.

On closer inspection it looks like there’s cuts on it. I did see some of my girls nipping at him earlier so wonder if that could be how the cuts got there?

More than likely you'll need to keep him away from them and also chickens if you have any. Looks too much like something good to eat.

If you have some antibiotic ointment like Neosporin or tripel antibiotic you can use that it will help heal any wound and maybe help him slip it back inside better. at 12 weeks he isn't trying to breed?
