Hello! I have a Buff Orphington, and she’s 1 years old. She lays good eggs every day, active, eats and drinks water, super friendly and cuddly. Her behavior is completely normal. The only thing I noticed was it looks like her skin got dry? She’s had that bald spot for a long time and it never had this dry spot. I don’t know if it’s dry poop or if her skin is infected. What should I do? Should I be worried?

It looks like she has been pecked around her vent in the past, and that can lead to cannibalism and death. The dryness is probably healing. I would spend some time with them to figure out the reasons for pecking and who is doing it. Pine tar, Nustock cream, and some other anti pecking treatments could be helpful. Overcrowding, not getting out to free range, too much light, not enough nest boxes, or not enough protein in the diet are some things to look at.
