I would agree. Females can make a male-like sound. The reverse is not true. So if there was a quack in the mix, I would go with female. I am not sure if the bill is a tell on the WH (I don't have a WH drake), but my Rouen drake has the same color as the drake above and my Rouen girls have black/orange bills. Plus my WH girl has the same color bill as the one in the pic.

Don't know. Metzer's WH has the same bill colors on their drake vs duck in the picture and the same with their KC, but I know for some ducks, bill color is not a good indicator, especially when they are young. What we are seeing here is some Khaki Campbell recessive gene showing thru?
Cheers all,
I'll have another listen when i get home tomorrow. Hope "she" is a girl it suit my plans better.
Here's a pic from 5 weeks ago she used to love picking scraps out of my beard. WH in front.
I couldn't get up without her jumping off the couch and sitting on my feet while i shuffled around the kitchen trying to make a GnT.
Nowhere near as keen to hang out with Dad now, they grow up so fast.
