So my DH dug a pond for my ducks. I want to fence it in so our cattle can't get to it, and so my ducks are in a safe place. What kind and height of fencing would you recommend.

I think i had cattle then i would make the fence the hieght of there neck...

I'm going to run a strand of electric around the outside of whatever I put up to keep the cattle from rubbing on it. I'm thinking some form of a small square box wire. Maybe 4 feet high? They can't fly so I'm not worried about them getting out.

Are duck eating preditors a concern, like fox? If so, I'd go with the 2x4 welded with electric wire close to the bottom as well.

I thought about a strand of electric around the bottom. I'm hoping with the cattle in the pasture predators would be less likey to be in there. I was just so happy when he dug the pond. He's getting a little trachoe again this weekend to dig the footer for the garage and promised phase two on the pond. He's going to make it even bigger. Sometimes he can be so sweet!
