I can't even deal with this excitement. I can understand how people become hatching addicts. I have a duck egg that has externally pipped! But he's pipping on the floor side, not the facing up side. He's on the fat end but the egg had a bit of a wonky air sac, as a shipped egg. I have the incubator tilted up at a slight angle, and I can hear him peeping. Do I just leave him, or turn him a bit? Don't want to mess with the humidity.
Also, do I increase the humidity now, according to the Storey guide, it says to increase to 85% Once pipping starts? I'm at 70% now. Thanks for helping an impatiently patient hatcher! I know this is probabLy a common/dumb question.
