DUCK QUESTIONS!

My ducklings live in their water dispenser! It's not big just a chick waterer. Is this ok? They drink it, walk around in it. If this is ok and normal then I'm good. Also, I assuming that runny poo is normal too? What about nibbling on each other's feet? I just got them today an have looked a INFO on them but non of this in there.

Yeah all that's normal for them.

Are they getting wet in the waterer? You don't want them getting chilled. They also need it to be deep enough to dunk their whole heads in to clean out their nares and eyes. I use an old lunch meat container that I cut a hole big enough to fit their heads in. When they get a little older I cut a hole in a milk jug them.

No they aren't getting soaking wet. But I do see little drops in their backs every now and then. I have seen them put their whole bills in the water, but not their entire head.

And what about some clear slimy stuff. Kinda resembles snot?? Not a lot of it but a couple have had some
