Duck....weed

I recently acquired some ducks and my 3 weeks old pekins prefer the bigger ones - azolla and silvinia molesta. All 3 are considered invasive but really useful for feeding chickens, ducks, and tilapia. I grow mines in separate tanks away from the ponds.

Watching them chow down on it.

Just be careful for you aquarists out there, I put some in my tank from a local river and discovered that putting wild plants into a fish tank is a great way to get yourself an invasion of algae and parasites that just won't quit!

Started growing duckweed in an old pool at my parents house a hand full grows very quickly
