Duck with Swollen Ankle

No the spots are actually from laying... when they get older as they lay their orange legs become black just like their beaks. But yes I do believe the infection spread but their is no outside bumble anymore.

Hey guys! Quick update... as of yesterday, my silly duck was walking, though slowly. She is still sitting most of the day, but I take her out in the evenings to forage with her flock and she loves it. I think that gives her extra motivation to get better!

The swelling is still present - it feels like some fluid filled sac so once I'm a little less busy I'm going to lance it and try to drain it out.
