Hey guys so I had a chicken hatch out 3 ducklings two days ago. They are all acting fine, eating and drinking, and following momma around.

However I notice one of the ducklings has its bottom wet. Investigating further it seems like his vent is sticking out and every time he poops the area gets wet.

I don't know if he has pooped since he is with the chicken. It doesn't look like pasty butt to me since there is still a hole through which I assume he is able to poop. Will this heal up on its own? It was my first time hatching eggs with a chicken so I've had a few bumps to say the least. He's very energetic and I'd hate to lose him if it's something I can treat.

Thanks!

Here's some pictures I got. It's slightly bleeding because I attempted to take off some of what looked like me to be poop. But it's not bleeding now.

Unfortunately, he has died. He wasn't growing like the other ones which leads me to think it was some congenital intestine problem.
