Dumbest Things People Have SaidšŸ˜‚šŸ˜±

"Yogurt is harmful and should never be fed to chickens."

A reply to me, in so many words, when trying to help someone in a Facebook poultry group looking for ways to give their chickens probiotics fast.

I had to learn, once again, stay off Facebook unless I'm peddling my chicks!! It's so stupid out there!

I have a similar problem with people who think giving a duckling, chick, or rabbit some sugar water when it's on the verge of dying will give it "DiAbEtEs". Like bruh, it can't get diabetes if it dies from a lack of glucose in it's malnourished wasted body.

Just found this; I didn't read everthing, but I wanted to contribute!
Eggs customer - "I want three dozen eggs this week instead of two. Tell your hens to take next week off!" I THINK she was kidding... šŸ˜¬

Man buying chicks (this was after I explained that chicks needed a brooder) - "I'll give you an extra dollar apiece if you'll keep them until they don't need a brooder." No way, thank you very much!

Customer who no longer buys my eggs - "why are your eggs so expensive?" 'Cause keeping chickens are expensive! Plus, they're only 30 cents higher than the cheap store eggs.

Same former customer - "if I bring you the carton back, can I get a 50 cent discount?"

Different customer, demanding I candle her eggs, even though I collect multiple times a day, to make sure there isn't a baby inside.

Competition seller has "free-range, vegetarian chicken eggs." šŸ˜‚

Well-meaning elderly man "just tell your hens to go broody so you can get more chicks." If only it worked that way!

And that's just the tip of the iceberg!
